A Short Break for the Band
After an unbelievable 2007 that included a
summer full of street dances and fairs, Mark Keaton and Aces High will take a
couple months off to rest and rebuild the show. Don't worry, it will still
be the same great show you expect, but we will also have some new surprises.
One of the main reasons for this break is Mark's new job. In August Mark
left his job of 10 years at Novartis Consumer Health and joined a consulting
group working with pharmaceutical companies all around the world. As you
can imagine, this change required his full attention for the first few months.
This is why the band's schedule has been very light this fall and why the band
is taking a break for the next couple months. Don't worry though, the band
will be in full swing again in mid-March.
Pictures from New Years Eve and the Lancaster Event center are now posted.
Thanks to everyone for your support as we look forward to another great year!

New Years Eve and the Aces High Saddle Series
New Years Eve in Madison was a blast for the
guys once again. This marked
the fifth year in a row that Mark and the guys have played there and they wish
to thank everyone associated with event for once again helping them ring
in the new year.
On another note - Mark Keaton and Aces High
is proud to announce that they will sponsor the Aces High Saddle Series in
conjunction with
the Lancaster Event Center and the Extreme Bull Riding Tour.
Mark Keaton and Aces High played to a packed
house last Saturday night at the Lancaster Event Center following the Extreme
Bull Riding.
As a result, the Event Center has decided to schedule two more Extreme Bull
Riding events for 2008, one in June and one in October. Mark and the guys
will play both Friday and Saturday after each event. The overall money
winner from all three 2008 events will be awarded a trophy saddle provided by
Mark Keaton and Aces High.
Stay tuned for more details.

Road Trips
The road trip to end all road trips is a mere four days away
as the band will
head north to Keya Paha county for their fair. AH is on the docket
to play
a Saturday show in Norden, NE.
Once again, the sandhills of Nebraska will be the setting for one of the most
anticipated shows of the summer for us and we
are looking forward to making some new friends.
Next week, the band will play an Equine Benefit at the Lancaster Events
Center on Saturday the 15th and then voyage out to North Platte for a three
night engagement at the famed Country Rose on Sept. 20 - 22.
The future of AH is very bright having secured return trips in 2008 for a lot
of
the shows that we were lucky enough to be able to play in 2007. Those will
be announced very soon.
Thanks for your support.
